The School of Mechanical Engineering at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT, http://www.bit.edu.cn/) invites applications for 20 full-time faculty positions. Opportunities exist at all levels. Holding a Ph.D. degree in a related field, a successful candidate must have a strong background in engineering/science fundamentals, preferably in vehicle engineering, powering engineering, manufacturing engineering, physics, materials, and optics and an aptitude for excellence in teaching. He/she is expected to establish an externally sponsored research program and teach graduate/undergraduate courses, as well as supervise M.S. and Ph.D. students.
